Ryu yelped, and then whipped around and glared dangerously at Shizuka, who was grinning at him mischievously. "What do you want?"
"Yoh and I had to do your training," she replied with an annoyed frown. "We thought maybe you were sick or something, but instead I find you lollygagging." After a moment she quirked an eyebrow and tilted slightly. "Who's playing the funky music?" she asked.

DisquietedAlone he sat, staring down at his red scarf. It was a habit he had developed over a week ago. A habit he really should have broken by then. He cursed at his luck, having an empathetic boy and a dysfunctional doctor for his partners. Why couldn't he have had an arrogant brat and an irritating jock instead? At least then he wouldn't have to worry about hiding his loneliness. While on this team, though, his leader would see his loneliness in his eyes before long, and his older partner would see the decline in his physical ability soon after. Yoh looked back with a smile. “Daijobu,” he repeated, then turned and walked out of the room.
